Lume

There is no question that natural stone mosaics are stunning in a bathroom feature or kitchen splashback.

But there are some reasons for not choosing real stone (apart from it being a finite resource).
Natural stone requires regular sealing – Lume doesn’t because it’s printed on a ceramic base.
Some stones can etch or stain when splashed with acids (lemon juice) or food (like pasta sauce or curry) which is a problem. Lume will never stain.

So how did we make Lume? We started by photographing our favourite slabs from a local mason and then combining light and dark shades to form a beautiful arrangement. There are so many faces in Lume, that you will never see a repeating pattern.

All Lume formats come ungrouted and the choice of grout colour will effect the final appearance.

Opting for a grout colour that is darker or lighter than the tile colour will highlight the individual pieces in the tile design,
while choosing a grout colour closely matching the tile colour will create a more uniform look.
