Riva

Riva

It’s a no-brainer that the world is crazy for ‘Japanese finger tiles’ or ‘kitkats’ - tiny, skinny glazed rectangles, usually with some kind of edge effect, sheeted onto mesh. They are definitely hot right now.

We set out to design something in that space – but those teeny tiny pieces are too small for our clumsy fingers to handle – and anyway, sheeted product is a real challenge to lay well – you can often see the individual sheets, even after grouting.

That’s where Riva shines – not only do we offer it in kitkat shapes, but also fingers, bejmat bricks and subway tiles. The tiles are scored by our cutting machines, so that they look like a seamless mosaic after grouting. The 30x30 footprint makes them super fast and efficient to install, which is a tiler’s dream.
